Martin Bergonzi Double Bass

This instrument is fashioned after the Cremonese double bass by Nicola Bergonzi made around 1780 that Thomas Martin used for most of his solo career and recordings. The size is compact and playable yet produces a disproportionally large, rich sound. This is an excellent solo double bass though is equally at home in the orchestra.
