We are pleased to offer this beautiful double bass made around 1860 by James Cole, a Manchester maker and former worker of William Tarr. Cole's craftsmanship is of the very highest quality and this instrument must be one of the best examples of this makers work. The outline of this double bass makes it a real players instrument and having been recently fully restored in our workshop it offers excellent playability and a huge sound.
