Joseph Panormo made for Thomas Dodd, London

This fine English bass has a beautiful sound with lovely velvety low notes. It most probably started life as one of the ‘cello model instruments that came from Dodd’s shop.

The shoulders have been sympathetically cut to make it easy to play. An ideal orchestral instrument, it was made from the finest materials.
