The Bergonzi Double Bass

The Bergonzi model which is showing on this page is a copy of the instrument which Tom used for many of his solo recordings. It is a copy of the Nicola Bergonzi of Cremona, Italy 1780.

This beautiful double bass is ideal for the soloist and chamber musician. The lower register is strong and broad in sound and quality, which makes it also suitable for orchestral playing. Super for a player who likes the smaller instrument with a robust sound. The string length of this instrument is 103cm.
