Thomas Martin is in the rare position to be able of offer and make basses from a players prospective, as any of his 150 handmade bass customers will tell you. Thomas’s knowledge and experience really shines through in his instruments. Their handmade instruments produce a quality of sound that is hard to find in an old master instrument and are said by many to work right out the box.

George Martin, Thomas’s son, has trained as an instrument maker under the guidance of his father for many years and has been lucky enough to study many of the greatest master instruments that have passes through his father’s hands. Mary Martin, Thomas’s daughter, herself a keen Cellist also helps in running the family business.
