Martin Double Bass Amongst the Stars

The martin Double Bass made a star appearance at a gala event of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.

Some of the Celebrities had lessons with the Orchestra’s principal players and Scott Pingel (the Principal Bassist) gave lessons to the two budding bassist's, Jack Nicholson and Tom Hanks, using the Thomas Martin 4/4 Double bass that is his constant companion.

We’re terribly proud of Scott and his achievement and the fact that the Martin bass has been with him right through passing his audition with that great orchestra to establishing himself as one of the finest players on North American scene. Repairs and Restoration

As we are a fully operational specialist double-bass maker, repairs are not a problem. Although we haven’t sought repairs in the past, we are happy to discuss and take them on.
